UT load up error!

OK.. well I installed UT and everything goes fine through the installation, I can even upgrade to the 436 patch..
but when I try to start it up I get this error:

Cirtical Error General
protection fault!
History:Checktag<-ULinker::ULinkerLoad::Init<-InitEnigine

I am using a p2 350mhz.. with a TNT2 model 64 pro...
I can't even start UT in safe mode.. I have even tried to re-install it twice..

If anybody could help me out a bit that would be great!

try re-installing the patch...or (if memory serves me correctly) downgrade to version 4.32 then upgrade to 4.36 again

Check your RAM, I used to get GPF (General Protection Faults) whenever i played UT online. Then i was told to take my RAM out, and try them individually.I found that one worked while the other didn't. It turned out that my 128 was the problem. From then on i had no more problems with GPF's.

Ever so offten I get that same error too. I restart my computer and it works fine. Do you get any other error messages?

Not anymore...but sometimes when i click on the "find internet games tab i get a GPF, but i just click on the find LAN games instead and no more GPF( I think it was the "news" screen that pops up when you click internet games is what was causing my errors)
