Hi
In a bit of a jam...
Does anyone know if it's possible for me to setup a quick filetransfer network between 2 computers by connecting them through UBS Ports?
If so, can u tell me how I go about doing this. Like what software, settings, etc I require.
Thank you..

If you are willing to open your computer?
Buy two Network cards (NIC). Install each one in one computer (the card will come with instruction).
Connect the Two computers (via the cards) with crossover Cat5 cable, and you are in business.
You can find the parts in any big computer store (Compusa, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.)
Total cost should not exceed $30-$40.
You can buy USB adapter, and connect USB to USB. It is a little more expensive, about $60, and slower then the previous scheme, but it is easier and faster to install.

Well it is instant access once you set it up which shouldnt take more than 10-15 min. You can ask here how to set up the network. :)
