Is there anything I must change?

Athlon 800 Mhz, 327 Mb RAM, Windows 2000, com21 cp2100-e cable modem (@home, Netherlands)

TCP properties for IP = XXXXXXXXXX
Browser/OS = Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 5.0; AIRF)

TCP options string = 020405b40103030201010402

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which is equal to MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 255552
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 2 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 63888
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 10222.08 kbps (1277.76 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 4088.832 kbps (511.104 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 53 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

Are you on a PPPoE connection, do you have to log on with name and password every time you go on net:)

Try these RWIN's (Default Rvc Window)
1 at a time in box on adjuster inside 4.2 on desktop.

GlobalmaxTcpWindowSize, TcpWindowSize and Default

ReceiveWindow must all contain same number (RWIN), Please try

these after you take out number thats there now, try:64240, 513920, 522680, 524176, 531440

Save to registry at bottom and reboot each time you change

value in adjuster, check analyzer here to be sure RWIN is in

Win2x only:) :)

Well, I installed adjuster 4.2 but it doesn't import my registryt settings so all boxes keep empty...

Lobo

OK, patch is in, try RWIN's above at www.pcpitstop.com and select fastest:) :)

Empty boxes in adjuster just mean default settings are being used, reboot after you change RWIN each time, check analyzer to make sure RWIN is in:)
