IE 5.5 -Slow ??!!

Can y'all help? When tabbing from field to field in IE 5.5, there's a 7-8 second delay. This is the case at home or at work on the WWW or local intranet. Ideas?

IE 5.01 SP2 is the fastest, best IE.

Do you have proxy enabled? If so, disable it. :)

I just reformated due to the damage IE 6 caused my machine.

5.5 seems to be the best on my machine, your milage may vary.

Yes I used to use IE 5.5 SP1 also, no problems:)

Thanks for the replies and attempts at advice to help...unfortunately no luck.

I'm still wokring on it though.

And BTW I use IE 5.5 at home on 2 PC"s no problems, so not sure what the deal is. All I know is that Netscape 4.77 works like a breeze.
