Low Ping?

I have 10Mbs Cablemodem and I have Downloaded MTUpatch and squide_tweak. My Download speed is quite good about 500kB/s, but What should I do, when I want minimum ping in net games (action quake2), no matter if download speed degreases?. Is there Gamers registery patch? Should I use MTU 576?

There is little you can do to maintain low ping responses to any server on the net, especially on cable Internet infrastructure. Simply hope that your node doesn't become overly populated.

If you drop your MTU to 576 then your connection will drop in half. Keep it @ 1500, it's optimized for broadband. 576 is for a dial-up connection.
