i've edit my registry using speedguide webpatch and then things start to screw up w/ my browser. sumtimes it will take several refreshes then it loads or a page would load up with several images missing or with images not belonging to that website. can someone please tell me how to remedy this situation? i'm using ie5.5 n on cable w/ win98. thanx
Although the patches here can be useful they are not universal in that all connection are different.
I reccomend getting the default patch to bring everything back to normal and manually setting only your recieve buffer.
I personally do not feel anything but this will help your connection.

but dude there is no default patch for the fast webpage load. so how like tt? i'm doomed
These are the Keys it changes:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]
"MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=dword:00000020
"MaxConnectionsPerServer"=dword:00000010
Go into your registry, Find these keys and Delete them, then Restart your computer, it will re-create the Default keys for Win98
