Ugate firmware beta at least thats what they call it
Anyway its tough to get it going. But once it does it works almost flawless
I said almost with all the testing I did it seems they need to learn to offload
the the NICinside once in a while after about 16 hours I need to reconnect on the DSL
where before it could go days.
However I get good clean speeds with it now with the old firmware it was 150Kb slower
This was tested on a Win2k machine at Microsofts default with the exception of the Rwin
This first image is a 400kbps upload clean and solid

this second image is a clean download at 213KB/sec

TCP options string = 020405ac0103030301010402
MTU = 1492
MTU seems to be optimized for PPPoE... If you are not on a PPPoE connection, consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for optimal throughput.
MSS = 1452
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1452, which is equal to MSS.
MSS is optimized for PPPoE. If you are not on a PPPoE connection, consider increasing your MTU value.
Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 371712
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 46464
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
511104 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
255552 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
127776 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
63888 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 14868.48 kbps (1858.56 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 5947.392 kbps (743.424 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 101 hops
TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
Anyone with a Ugate that hasnt been blocked out of there forum might want to ask where your copy is
If you have a Ugate 3200 I will see if I can make some download spece for this if the demand is big enough.
Personally I was ready to post a picture of it sitting on a toilet.
But decided not to put it up. Now if they would just let me back in the forum maybe I'll loose the picture.
that I really did take.
