This Program Monitors all Tcp/Ip and Udp Conections to your ports
If any conection is made it Logs the Conection , Logs the IP of whoever tryed to connect and allso Cuts Them straight off.
The 1st thing a hacker does is scnas your ip for open ports and if 1 or 2 or 3 or whatever are found open the hacker basically has a way into your computer (basically)
so this is where this program comes in handy

I'll give it a 15 day whirl and see how it goes.
I'm using ZA 2.6 and have Zonelog Analyzer installed. So far, the program isn't telling me much that I can't already get out of Zone Log Analyzer and netstat from the dos prompt.

I'm game for experimentation though!:)

ive had it running on my win98 o/s with sygate personal firewall , trogan security (monitors all well known trogan ports) spyblocker, coockie wall and have had no conflics so far and again i am pretty impressed with the info it is giving my way:D

how do i reset everythang on zonealarm??
cuz when i uninstalled it and installed it back ...why do i still have those programs in my zonealarm?
like my america online,internet explorer, ..etc. u know the one that u gave permission to access the the internet...so reply plez!

Well you'll have to do a complete uninstall-registry settings included, completely remove entire program, then download and do another install. This is the least time consuming way of doing it. It isn't fun, but thats the way to do it. Just follow the directions on the Zone Labs page in the above post and try this Reg Cleaner (http://www.jv16.org/) after you've followed Zonelabs instructions.

Be careful with the Reg Cleaner! It's very easy to delete something that you may still need. It can be configured to save a backup copy of deleted entries and the program itself is free.

I notice that that program gives basically the same information as the Firewall Status Window of Tiny Personal Firewall.

FOR THA RECORD man
this program does mutch more then showing what your timy personal firewall status window will
it listens for tcp/ip and udp conections , logs the attckers ip then cuts off the attacker.
not only that it listens for connections on well known trogan ports.(over 50 of them)
allso has port scanning detection...whitch means if any body scans your pc for an open port it warns you and agian logs there ip and cuts off the attacker~!@ :rolleyes:

I know it does those things as well, but so does Tiny. What would be the point of running both of them when Tiny will do all that does plus more?
