zone alarm software? last time i posted on here i posted about how i got a kernell32 error whenever i close down zone alarm, and someone on her told me to get an older version because he or she had the exact same problem. so if any of you could tell me where to find an old version i would be very thankful. i've already tried download.com and they don't seem to have it. i would love anyone's help.

and just now i tried installing the 2.6 version and after i install it, it freezes on me. it won't go away or work at all. what should i do. i would really like someone to respond because this is driving me nuts.

My Recomendations to one who is going to install ANY version of zone alarm **IS DONT**
My opinion is that zone alarm is very unstable on windows 98 or windows me o/s
not only that i know of a hacking site in the uk that is pubblicly announcing cracks for the pro and freeware versions.
there is to many holes in the damn thing

get sygate man...its 110% more reliable and has an option of backtrace

Not. The majority of users here us ZA. I have been using ZA ever since it was out and it's EXTREMELY stable. ZA has never caused any grief on my system whatsoever.

I have also used Sygate. It's okay, and it does have some pretty cool features, but it's a PITA to maintain, IMO.

And, FWIW the version I emailed fastpaz is not some cracked version. You just have something on your system that isn't compatible with ZA.
