hey guys, im gunna reformat my comp, id like to erase all files on it beyond any type of recovery, i have read that u must write over each piece of hard drive seven times before it can no longer be recovered... can anyone tell me where i can get a SHAREWARE or FREEWARE file eraser... (hopefully one that can do practically an entire hard drive at once)

well I think this can do the whole HD at once all you have to do is select all of the folders. You can get it here:

when you install it, it asks if you want to add it to the send to menu. Select yes and then highlight all the folders on the drive and then right click on the selected stuff and go to send to and select super shredder.

This is a good one to will wipe the whole drive of deleted files. BC.Wipe You can get it at http://www.jetico.com/index.htm#/bcwipe.htm or at www.moochers.com It will let you wipe it from the drive as you delete it.;)
