Any suggestions on how to get a little more speed?

Right now I get about 90-100kb/sec while downloading from www.netscape.com (was downloading divx movies too, so will try again later). My line is capped at 1mb down. Should I expect anymore?

you can't get accurate test speeds when you are dl ing

for best speed results you shoudl defrag and do scandisk, turn off all apps in taskbar. clear temp files then test :)

Since you are here check out the RamDisk too, you will probably like it a lot, I sure do and I run same OS as you :)

Yeah, will test downloads tomorrow (Downloading The Matrix and Save the Last Dance). Plan on testing a few different RWINS and looking into the RAMDISK. I can see myself redoing my PC a few times trying out the RAMDISK..

do you know how to chang file extensions, that is the only flaw in the whole thing, I told him to put it in but he forgot

as long as you follow the guide and do exactly as it says,(and know how to make file extensions) you cannot mess up it is foolproof :D

look around for someone on 2K with same CPU size and same connection type to see what RWIN they have used and how it worked for them

and there are the suggested RWIN's by the TCP/IP Analyzer too
