Lobo,

I appreciate any help that you could pass on to increase my speed.
I’m a computer novice, so I don’t really know a great deal, but I’m learning.
You had asked for me to list my OS and system specs.
Outside of running: Windows 98, having an AMD Duron with a 700MHz processor, and 128 RAM, I don’t know what else to list.
Can you please tell me what you need, so I could pass on the info?
Also, I had seen in a post where someone had mentioned their IRQ Network card, listing a 10 reading.
You had said that it was to high, that at that setting it could slow them down, and to lower it.
Where is the IRQ setting located, and what number should it be set to for max. performance?
I appreciate your help, and all those who have offered their help in the past.
Especially, “blebs99” who's been a great help to me!

Thanks again,

John!

Try these RWIN's (Default Rvc Window)
1 at a tine in box on adjuster inside 4.0 on desktop. GlobalmaxTcpWindowSize-BLANK
Save to registry at bottom and reboot each time you change value in adjuster
Check analyzer here at Speedguide to be sure you have RWIN in, thank you
Try: 513920, 522680 or 524176:)

Yes, Lobo I did download Cablenut's adjuster, and I've been using it for about 3 weeks.
I'm going to give your RWIN settings a try now. Thanks again.

Lobo,
I checked, my IRQ has a setting of 11.
Is that good or bad?
And if needs to be changed, what do you suggest, and what's the best way to do it?

Your IRQ setting is fine, you need IRQ tweak here (http://www.speedguide.net/Cable_modems/cable_irq.shtml) :) :)
