I'm trying to fine tune my PPPoE DSL connection. I just backed up my registry,(for the first time I might add)if something doesn't workout right how do I access the backup and set everything back to the way it was? Sorry for the simple question, but this is all new to me.

I really don't have to worry about the 5 day storage thing because after I tweaked my DSL system and it didn't work properly, I would go right to it and redo what I screwed up. But it is good to know thank you!

Off topic: HackMcDivot, where in the city are you from? I'm from Little Italy in Manhattan.

I found the scanreg /backup on the RUN bar easiest to deal with. Sometimes merging or importing regs from an exported file doesn't work.

you can also run scanreg /restore in the RUN bar of the START menu when you're in windows
