pings, Tracert

does anybody know what are the best pings? below 100 above 100, higher better, lower better.
less hops better,more hops better? can someone learn me about these readings thanx for any help given

The lower the ping the better, their is some talk and a ping test at www.pcpitstop.com, Storm90 is the one to talk to about lowering ping times:)
