O.K. I never use a fire wall befor. I was told not to worry about it to much cause I was on dial-up. Anyway I have zonealram. But I heard it was a big program. Will It eat up a lot of my rescoures?
What about tiny, is that freewear or is some place I can download a shearwear versoin? I like to give that a run and see what is like. Of course I also heard tiny was hard to use. If i install it Is it easy to remove if I can't ahnddle it? I m still on dial up right now but 5 more days and its DSL!(yes that cool!).

I am on dial-up and I run zone Alarm and I am glad I do because I always see things on my log that I am glad Zone Alarm is stopping. My Dial-up connection is on almost all the time though so its like a constant connection without the high speed part. I just leave it on when I leave and stuff like that so I dont have to re-dial.

I think zone alarm is the next best thing to a hardware firewall. It does take up some resources but just don't have alot of stuff in your sys tray
