MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which is equal to MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 51391488
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 10 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 50187
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 2055659.52 kbps (256957.44 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 822263.808 kbps (102782.976 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 246 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

Hi subzero and welcome. That's a pretty good sized RWIN number you've got there. Someone will be along real quick to help you out.

What are your system specs:)

Thats not a RWIN, I have no idea what that is

Pro hacker who wont put system specs in when he registered, Hmmm:) :)

His system specs are in his signature. :)

With a RWIN like that, no wonder you are slow, try 522680, 524176 or the one for you 554800:) :) :)

i fixed it. The problem was my high TTL

What about that super duper high RWIN? Are you using T1? T3? That RWIN looks just about right for those kind of connections.. well, if you're happy then um... ok

No it is not fixed my friend, that thing you call a RWIN is the highest I ever seen, and to put it plainly, is wrong, TTL has nothing to do with speed, RWIN does:) :) :)

but i get good speeds now

Leave him. He'll know what we were talking about when BSOD kicks in.. can someone say *packet loss*? :)

I don't care for those online speed tests vey much as each one is different, try changing RWIN might be faster and go to help page below in sig, 2nd page at bottom tells you how to do real speed test and downloand Net Stat Live, thats what we use, good luck:) :) :)

With RWIN that size streaming video is going to mess up too:) :)

On real speed test i get about 500-780 k on happypuppy.com.
If you think i should change my rwin i'll do it.
