In the registration form, you should add an uncapping question warning before hitting the agree button. Make them notice it without skipping it. First, enable it so that they have to read it and agree and understand that we do not discuss uncapping here. Immediately after clicking "yes I agree and understand that uncapping is not to be discussed in this forum" a pop up window with the Uncapping Editorial will pop up. Making them read that to understand it even more. Then they can go on with the registration. Maybe I reminded you of something again :) You can use that exact idea if you'd like, or something to that effect. I'm just getting tired of newbies asking about uncapping over and over. I hope this resolves it, or something. Later man.

P.S. Lemme know if my idea is rediculously retarted or not :) If it is... I'll just go into my corner again

Speak to you soon, your highness.

I think it would be good. Sort of like a double warning to them. The bad part is that they probably won't read it, but if it's presented twice before going to the next step, that should give them a good subliminal message.

And while we on are new stuff, since they won't put OS and system specs in when they register, make a pop up before their first post to include that info:)

I think that information should be a "must" in a person signature. System specs are very important. :) Some members already do that, and thats good. But we should get all our members to do that, including our brand new newbies

Well, what do you think your highness? Do our ideas qualify?

First I'll add a link for people to read the unapping editorial before they register.

Also, I've added an option in user profiles to specify their system specs, not many use it though.

Great, some progress. Maybe those uncapping posts will stop? Another thing... that guy "Real_1" or whatever his name is... He's been posting bullcrap and he's already gotten two warnings... I think that you should completely ban him from speedguide.. http://www.dabros.com/images/ajax/icon24.gif
Seriously though. Ken already locked two of his threads. I don't know, it's up to you. Later. Thanks for reading our suggestions :)
