Hi, i have 2 computer, 1 hub, cable, 1 ip.

When i boot my 2 computer i receive two different ip from the dhcp but i pay only for one, after 1-2 and may be 3 hour i lost one of my ip connection.

Do you know something to bypass this thing without paying the fee!!!

Can i fix my ip and other information that the dhcp gave me?

If you get a router it will split the connection so you can use the two computers for how ever long you want.

what you are asking is Illegal to do,and unless you want to go back to dialup,I would get a router.

Maybe a dumb question but that's not resolve my problem, because i am still loosing connection with one of my computer

2 computer connected on a hub and my cable is connect to the hub.

The dhcp of my provider is given me 2 ip but i will stop responding after a time.
