Log-off Problems !!

Hey,

I was also wondering if anyone knew what can be done to keep my DSL connection online. Seems like sometimes it stay connected to the internet and sometimes it logs off in 20-30 mins.

I just recently reloded my earthlink software and now my connection logs off after 20 minutes.
Is this something I can controll or is this earthlink?

I'm likely believe it's the software configeration, simply because before I reinstalled the software, I could stay connected for a day.

Can anyone offer advice??

well you can call your isp and let them know.

No, Only a Westell DSL modem.

I'm using Earthlink DSL Software.

System software Win 98SE

Have you checked the options of this program to see if it automatically logs you off after a certain period of time? If you have already done this, it's time to give your ISP a call. :)
