do you think you could make a ftp directory for sg members on this site. just a suggestion
why cant we use 15K avatars

The reason for the avatar size limitation is bandwidth, they're being served from our server.

FTP for storing what ? We can't possibly scan everything that users upload on a FTP server, and it will potentialy have huge impact on our bandwidth.

i didnt mean to sound greedy i just thought the size would remain the same i didnt know that it would affect the bandwith that much:cry:

mp3 or pics or anything
i meant that the user could put his ftp address in his profile and it would show up in the members section by their name or something and we could copy and paste it in our browser.
never mind ill just put in my sig instead

I thought you meant for us to start a public ftp server, nm ;)
