Security using Netgear rt314

Before I had a router I used Zonealarm and got all stealth reports from www.grc.com.

Now with the router it says that smtp, finger, pop3 and ident are closed- not stealth.

I found than odd.

I think routers just close ports, instead of stealthing them, which is why a lot of router users also use a software firewall.
