fps caps in on-line fps

how many of you have experienced fps caps depending on your internet connection during qw or q3a? (I can hit high fps but then I get 100 pl)

ps- i'm not talking about rate

i know in halflife you specy the fps in the autoexec.cfg

u should try to see if it has one for q3

try this in the console or set it in the config
seta com_maxfps 200 or whatever
