although he never told me a lot about it, I was kinda wondering, if you have a router and reset the defaults, could it still auto update? is there a way to stop it from doing so? would it be a way to tweak it? someone who knows more about the SB modems take a loot at this and tell us what we can do :)

I think this is kinda like running the dsl/cable speed test at www.pcpitstop.com... I get about 5Mb on that test... can't be accurate!

I only get those high speeds at cowgod.org. nowhere else. the highest I have gotten from there was just over 6000. but it must be kinda close to me, i get good pings to it :)
