This past winter a bunch of us from several forums searched for a powerful broadbandwidth router.
The Linksys was easiest to use, but had problems hosting UT based games, specifically graphical glitches. The latest BETA firmware has been reported to clear the graphic problems, but I've still heard of PL and occasional kicking problems. I threw mine out last fall.
The NetGear was faster, but also had random WAN client kicking problems. No graphical problems. I kept one ofr 4 months, selling it.
SMC...mixed reviews. Some with good luck, others think so so.
I've been running a Netopia R910 for quite a while. More of a midrange router (300 bucks), brutally difficult to setup, steep learning curve, but man is it powerful and robust. Have not had any problem running any server from behind it.
