I followed the tweaks for win2k on Speedguide and tried setting my MaxMTU to 1462... to no avail. I want it on 1462 because results from dslreports say that my upload packet is less than MTU. I really don't know what that means.
I'd rather change things on my registry than download tweakers. I tried looking for the post about this subject matter, but can't find it. Any help will be appreciated.
thanks

Ok, I have had the best results from cablenut proggy you can get it *HERE (http://www.broadbandnuts.com/cablenut/software.htm) * or go to the Forum there to discuss more about it *HERE (http://www.broadbandnuts.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi) * Also check out Lobo's Help Page (http://www.broadbandnuts.com/dslnuts/Lobo/help.shtml) for the best guide to tweaking.
Have a good one-
You can download Cablenuts adjuster in my sig in help page and load no speed patches, that way you have blank adjuster to add what you want, save at bottom and reboot, Cablenuts patch will take your system back to default, but you can use it instead of going into that registry all the time and it will enter correct values, hex, decimal, string, dword:) :)
