Hey ppl! I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of moncabelx.exe? Its a speed increasing program that works wonders, so I've heard. I REALLY need to find it. If you can, or have it, or know where it is, please email me. lowiq@westman.wave.ca

Thanks,
Ryan

Probably a trojan horse program or some other crap. In all reality, changing your RWIN is all thats going to help. Some other settings may boost your speeds a little. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to keep searching for the Foutain of Youth...

Hey! Ya, I know. I've searched everywhere... with no luck. It's a guy I work with that told me.. he has it installed, but doesn't have the installer for it. He said thats what its called. I guess its a program used by the ISP (he got it from a tech there) that they use to reprogram the modems with or without the limits. So, therefore you could just increase them a bit. Sounds very interesting for me.. lol.. BTW, the cable modems are COM21 DOXport™ 1010 Cable Modem. If anyone could find anything out about this program, or even just find it for me... That'd be amazing. Thanx ;)

Funny my brother just got cable yesterday and thats the modem they gave him, I'd never heard of it but his provider is Comcast@home and with just a little patch at night at (9:00) CST he was getting 532KB d/l so the modem must be alright. :)
