Can anyone give me a hand please? I'm sitting on a DSL connection that is connected to the exchange at 952K/sec.

TCP options string = 020405b40103030201010402

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which is equal to MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 255552
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 2 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 63888
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 10222.08 kbps (1277.76 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 4088.832 kbps (511.104 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 44 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

Any tips?

Are you on PPPoE as you have PPPoE patch installed, what is your OS and system specs please:
PPPoE you have to log on with name and password.
PPPoE ( Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet ) is a method for building PPP sessions and encapsulating packets, as described in RFC2516. Although it is not a standard, PPPoE is already being used by a number of DSL providers. It requires either routers that have built-in PPPoE support, or PPPoE software to "dial up" and establish the session.

I am on Win2000 / XP dual boot (XP blows so I use Win2k) on a Thunderbird 950 with 256 meg of RAM.

Oops looked at my Desktop and saw the PPPoE patch. I'm on a DSL connection using PPPoA.

Remove that patch and install correct one :)

Installed Win2k defaults and rebooted. Then the standard broadband patch, rebooted.

Any tips?

You may try what analyzer says RWIN (Default Recieve Window of 513920 :) :) :)
