What would happen if I applied a speed tweak, but I was on 56K. Would it do anything, would it screw my connection up??? What would it do???

They make speed tweaks for 56K modems.
I know CableNut Has one in his 4.0 patch.
I'm sure speedguide does too. :D

No, if you are on dialup do not put a broadband patch on or you will be in same boat as Lance, look down the threads and see all the posts we have tried to get him out of this mess. This is not a good idea :eek: :eek:

Not if your provider dose not use one. If they do you may need to keep it.
