i have an accton nic that came with system,750mhz, winme,256ram,@home,iwas thinking of buying a card,would this help in performance,or shouldnt i even bother,

If it works it works. If it gives you problems trash it... Will you get better performance from a higher end Intel or 3com nic? Yes probably.
