Are they a good provider? Good for gaming? heh just curios I just ordered dsl from them it has finally become available in my area!!! What is their average DL speed? Thanx for any help, BTW I live in Mississippi if that has something to do with it.

Hey dude, with some patches from here, you should get pretty decent speeds! I live in Louisiana and my speeds with the patches average between 600 and 1.3Mpbs. Now you will every now and then get some lower readings when you do a speed test but at least it's not consistent at those lower speeds. My download rate is pretty damn good also with the patches...anywhere from 130kbps and up. As far as the patches from here go, you will just have to test them and see what's right for your system. Remember to backup your registry first though!

if you want to backup your registry, you save the files index.dat and system.dat (these are the registry files), these are hidden files, so you have to go and customize to see all your files and folders, once you did that do a search for these files, and make a copy of them
