Hi Guy's

a question if i may

i have re installed folding on my comp. ver 134, i followed the guidelines as set out, i believe.

my name + sg

i have been running for 2 days now yet there is no change in the stats, to confirm i am working for SG

i had 2 units before and it still remains. now the question is did i go wrong somewhere

When the little prog. came up and asked for my name i did it right. however another box showed up asking a different question, i believe (memory fails)

the point being now if i call up the window or after shutting down and restarting it comes up it shows

minir@sprint.ca

is this cool or have i screwed up somewhere. i am just trying to find out if it's working ok and being tabulated to SG

Hey minir,

When the client first starts up it should read something like this for you:

User Name: minir (Speedguide.net Team)

If this is not coming up. Then you need to uninstall and then reinstall the program. Make sure after you uninstall the program you open Windows Explorer and delete the Folding@Home folder from C:\Programs and then empty the recycle bin.

i think i have it right now, i'll check in a day or so to confirm/

the instructions given are a little vague in regard to the second time name must be given.

it should read repeat same second time, or something to that effect, possibly; to avoid dumbies like me screwing up. hahaha

i was doing Seti, but after 300
unit's for them, decided to switch over, as i owe this project one, as i have been through it myself 5 1/2 years ago.
