i have no stats yet....
i checked to make sure i had the name right :
cornbread (Speedguide.net Team)
Have you had it running all day?
Are you sure you completed a unit?
Do you see the DOS box start up?
Has it tried to connect to send in the results?
Are you running a Firewall that will block it from sending results?
Just a few questions to start off with. Hopefully we can get this figured out for you.

btw, i checked the log in the fah folder and it said "work" had been seent and received.
i know earlier today @home was having server problems, thats what someone else told me.
What version of the client are you using?
When the client first starts up. Does the name and team match Cornbread (Speedguide.net Team)?

ver 1.34
and no, i do not see anything with cornbread at startup...
In the Dos box when the client 1st starts up you should see something like USER ID = Cornbread (Speedguide.net Team). I am not to sure exactly what it says since I am at work right now.
What you should do is stop the client and the restart it and post what it says.

nope...
this is weird, but it says:
user id: cs-sdk
i know for a fact i put cornbread (Speedguid.net Teams)
Ok. Now that is really screwed up. I believe that cs-sdk is what they use for testing new versions. What you will need to do is Uninstall the program and after it is uninstalled go into Windows Explorer and delete the Folding Folder and then empty your Recycle Bin in Windows Explorer.
Then go to http://foldingathome.stanford.edu/winclient134.exe and download the client again and reinstall. Make sure you follow the setup procedures on the page that my Signature leads to. Click on my Folding Signature to get there.
Once you have reinstalled it start it up and post what it says for the user ID again.

Finally! i was doing everything you suggested as you wrote this i guess. anyway, i uninstalled it, reinstalled, and started it up. at startup i did see my name this time, lol. now all i need to do is check back in 6 hrs. i took the screensaver off completely, i kinda think that may have caused the problem. thanks again for your dedicated help! :) time for some sleep.
later...
Glad it seems to be working for you. Get some rest and hopefully you will be in the stats when you wake up.
