File Sharing

Hello, this is a probably a stupid question with an easy answer but here goes. I have 2 computers hooked up to the Linksys 4 port router. I have disabled file and printer sharing on both PC's. Now if I want to share files between these 2 pc's do I need to get a second NIC card and a hub and more cabling? Or is that uplink port there for a reason?

All you need to do is bind Client for Microsoft Networks and File and Printer Sharing to TCP/IP on each LAN NIC, or install NetBEUI and bind these two items to it instead.
