Is it dependent on the game on whether or not you can play multiplayer games online? Or does the router have anything to do with it? ANy input would help...thanx guys...

How are you playing your multiplayer games, are you playing on your own local LAN or dialup/broadband over Battle.net?
If your playing over Battle.net your at the mercy of Blizzard's servers and connection which at times can be quite laggy.
If your playing over your local LAN and your not already running 10/100 Full-Duplex you can see performance gains by upgrading.
If your playing TCP/IP game with a friend over dial-up on your end or the other end you'll experience lag just because of the slower speeds attributed to a dial-up connection.
Provide us with some more info and we'll see if we can give you some direction http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif
