Network is setup and working fine (from learning via this forum) except that the printers of computer 1 do not show up on computer 2. Yes, file and print sharing are clicked and partially working on #2. They do show up in the Network Neighborhood, but they do not show up when going to print anything. The shared drive(s) show up just fine and the printer connected to #2 shows up and is operational on the network from computer 1.

I have tried several things, but so far everything works except to two printers hooked up to computer 1 via the LAN from computer 2.

Thanks in advance.

Let me see if I understand this correctly. You can see the printers on Network Neighborhood. Is that from computer 1 or computer 2? If you can see them from computer 2 double click on the printer/s to install the drivers on computer 2. Also you can go to the Add Printer Wizard and install a "network" printer instead of a "local" printer. If you use the wizard you have to enter the path to the printer. Hope this helps.

Thanks Sav. That worked. Just seemed odd that I had to do that step on one computer and not the other.

Also, should I have IPX/SPX installed/bound for both? And NetBEUI? It's really tough finding any information on all these protocols and network setups. The manual that came with my Linksys cards was pretty much useless compared to the knowledge gathered here! http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks again for the help.
