I have three computers at home networked using a Linksys cable switch. I would like to know if there is a way to set up the network so that anyone can access their email from any of the three machines. I have Outlook Express and Outlook available for use.
The help in Outlook suggests setting up different users within windows. I would like to avoid having to relogin (within windows) for each user on each machine if possible.
Right now we are using one machine with Outlook Express and four identities. This works fine but I'm not sure how to utilize this setup across the network.
Any suggestions?

start up outlook express, go file->identities->add new identity, and set up another identity for the users who want to access their e-mail from that machine. then configure the other computers with outlook express identities for the different users you have in mind.
then, no matter who is the logged on user, you can go to (within outlook express) file->switch identitiy, and select whose e-mail you want it to check.

How would the other machines share the address book and message folders of the original Outlook Express identities?

well, they wouldn't be sharing anything per se, as only one identity (per computer) would be active at a time. each identity has its own folders containing e-mails and addresses. as far as the address book and such goes, it would have to be maintained after it was set up (either by manually entering the address book info, or by copying the address book folder for each person into the the computer's outlook express folder/identity)

So each machine would have it's own set of messages and adress books. This would mean if I downloaded a message on machine 1 then I would not be able to look at the message on machine 2.
I'm trying to look for a solution where all email information is located in one area and accessed by any machine on the network. I'm not sure it is possible.
