I will be getting a small Cisco router (w/ 1 ethernet port) soon and would like to configure it to lease one address from RR and do nat translation for my 3 pc's so I can assign them static addresses. I need static because I have an HP printer with a jetdirect card that requires static address. A Cisco engineer says it can be done but did not know how to config it. Any ideas? Also, will the Linksys routers allow assigning static addresses on the lan side or let you set the range for the dhcp leases?
