Linksys and Win ME HELP!!!!

I just installed Lynksys Hub and NICs on my Win 98 and Win ME machines. Win 98 went really smooth but ME keeps crashing when trying to use the Network Wizzard.

The board installed and was recognised, drivers (Win 98) loaded, there were no Win ME drivers, but I get blue screen atabout the midpoint of the network wizzard that says:
Filename:VSERVER(01) + 0000 4D75
Error: OE:0028:C 17738F5

aT THAT POINT THE SYSTEM ALLOWS ME RTO GO BACK TO WINDOWS BUT NOT CONTINUE THE INSTALL.

The lights on the NICs and the hub are all lit up really nice but no throughput,,,,,

dont use wizard, use network neighborhood properties for tcp/ip to manually configure the card. I have run into similar problems with gateways with me. I have had no problems once the card is configured manually, also, what kind of network is it for? direct 2 pc's? Cable modem? DSL?

The network is just 2 PCs right now, I'll add cable modem soon. I had my 486 hooped up to my PentII 350 for a year with no problems. The Win ME seems really unstable compared to 98.
