I was just wondering if it is worth while to split DSL between 2 comp's...

How slow is it and does the bad out weigh the good.

I currently have cable and we pay for 2 connections, but cable has really gotten laggy and unreliable lately (at least 1 crash per day.

I've used a number of tweaks and this has improved speed somewhat, but the reliability is still an issue. I've bitched out my ISP so much they know me by name.

Anyway, I know how to set it up, I just need to know if it's worth it...plz help!

It's well worth it. I have two machines and only once in a great while do I even notice it. Even then both my wife and I have to both click on some huge web page at the same time, even then the problem only lasts for an instant.
In regard to crashing, that problem was eliminated by switching to W2K downloading the service pack one and using IE5.5, I haven't had it choke on a page since. I've heard tell that bad java script can cause lock-ups.
There is some software you can use to bind both of your connections together if you choose www.fatpipeinc.com, (http://www.fatpipeinc.com,) check it out, you could double your speed supposedly.

U should be fine as long as both of u r just browsing/emailing. However, if some1 d/ls a large file while ur playing a game, u will prolly notice a slow down.
