hi, I am going to talk about gaming here becuase thats the only thing i care about when it comes to speed.
I have really good connection to the internet thru a local provider. the only problem is I am playing games from the computer that is networked to server computer. This tends to double my ping to most places and always creates packet loss.
What I am wondering is what are the steps i should take to making this stuff go away and most specifically i would like to know if there is some way for me to devote the Server computer to doing nothing but trafficing the connection to me(on the networked computer).
I have tried turning off all programs on the Server computer but it does not change the effect. If you have info pls post links. =]
