Here's the setup:
-- I have 2 seperate and distinct broadband internet links, (like DSL and Cable).
-- I have and extra PC that I would like to configure as the Inet router for my home LAN - all it will do is print serve and route inet traffic (a hardware router would need 2 uplink ports, a convrted PC is more economical for this purpose).
I'm sure I could easily do this with NT, but one of the broadband devices (USB DSL router) only has Win 98 drivers (w2000 does not work with it!).
Is there any specifically software router solutions out there that will run on Win 98? I know Win NT does software routing, but I've never tried it within 95/98.
Any suggestions for how I can make 2 fast uplinks transparent to my LAN using w98 on the PC Router?
