I use Linux and Windows 98. I mainly use Linux as a dedicated game server.
As far as having them coexist, there aren't any problems that I know of. In fact, you can set up Linux to be a free NT file server! Just use the built-in program Samba to do this. You can also use Linux as a free internet router (using IP masquerading), so that all your computers can use the same internet connection simultaneously.
