Linksys DHCP lease Renewel Problem

Hello all, I have PPPoE DSl service from SNET (local telco) and they hath decreed a 3 hour lease renewel. Now the problem I am having with Linky is that after the 3 hour lease renewel I have to manually disconnect and then reconnect the router to regain a connection. I have tried the idle timeout setting available and it doenst seem to get the renewed IP for some reason. I am using firmware 1.23.. I hope there is a fix for this as I am inherently lazy and dont want to manually reconnect every 3 hours .

I use mindspring and also use PPPoE to log into my account. My linksys router has the same problem. About once a day or so, I have to connect to the router and tell it to reconnect even though it thinks it's connected. The idle feature does nothing for me. In any case, I had it with the Linksys router and am returning it in favor of the Netgear rt311 router. I don't know if the RT311 has the same problem but it looks like it doesn't.
