ok I am very very new to this networking thing...I have 2 computers with win98 se and a 4 port linksys router..I have been able to get them both networked but I can only get one on the internet...however I can enter the ip of the suspect computer into the working one and play internet games on both...I setup the 2 computers the same time with the same settings (except the ip )I have double and trippled check the settings on the suspect computer and everything is right....If I disconnect the router and reboot the cable modem and the computer it will log on to the net so I know the nic and the computer isn't the problem (at least I think ) any suggestions ??? :confused:
