internet sharing help

I finally figured out how to network our two computers together using a cross-cable and 2 NIC cards. One one point, I even got the internet running on the client, but don't know how I did it, now I'm asking for help. The server has win98SE and the client has Win95. do I need extra adapters and protocols? :confused:

You need TCP/IP installed on the client and you need proxy software on the host to give the client access to the internet. Other protocols should already be there if you have a working network.

I re-installed ICS and other protocols and somehow it started up without asking for which connection I had (dial-up or dsl). :)
