Yeah I could do that but the nice thing about mapping the drive is say if I have a piece of software on a CD he wouldn't have to copy the whole image to load it to his machine I could use the remote control tools in netmeeting and actually run the install file and it would be installed on to his machine.

You'd probably have to setup some sort of virtual private networking, and that is beyond me for the time being.

Or you could get PCanywhere, and it should do exactly what you are wanting to.

it is just like pc anywhere but small and easy as hell to use. you can't mess up on it :)
