I have @home cable internet service. I'm using the linksys router and have two pcs connected...one win98 and the other win2k pro. My friend who lives 3 houses down from me also has @home service hooked up to his win98 pc.
Now here's the question. If he wants a piece of software loaded on his pc and I'm too lazy to go down there, can I map a network drive from his pc to my own. Basically I could use ms netmeetings remote control tools to get into his pc and map the drive...that is of course if it's possible. And from my understanding the cable modem system is just a big hub with nodes and he is on the same node is me so how could we do this?
THanks,
Josh
