I'm going to be adding my brother's computer to our cable modem line. My computer is the only connected to it at this point. I'm going the HUB route, and got him a separate ISP from @Home, he has an NIC installed. Is it ok to follow the directions given on @Home's site for networking, or is there an easier way? Thanks guys.

I'd use a router or the "server" method before paying for an extra IP.

Anyway, attach the modem to the uplink port of the hub. Attach both computers to the hub and use one of the @Home supplied commputer names on each along w/ the workgroup '@home'.

I recommend unbinding File/Printer Sharing and Client for MS Networks from TCP/IP and binding it to NetBEUI instead.
