Has the 2503 got two ethernet ports?
I dont deal with the 2500 series - the only one I really know of which has dual ethernet in that series is the 2514. The 2503 has ethernet/serial/isdn bri, of which only the ethernet is any use to you.
You can certainly use it for a firewall/nat/etc whatever you want assuming you have the suitable IOS version (the basic IP IOS doesn't do much).

www.cisco.com (http://www.cisco.com)
- locate your part number for the IOS
- locate a distributor for cisco gear
- put an order through
