View Full Version : Microsoft Networks Password
Do you have to create a User profile for the Client for Microsoft Networks from Control Panel\Users? When I startup both PC's on my LAN and it comes to the Network Password screen (W98SE). You can type any password and it will let you in.
If I change the Primary Network Login from Client For Micorsoft Networks to Windows Logon. Will I still have access to the network?

You might. But you are better off useing the one you are useing now. Just set up the newest TweakUi and add you name and Pass word to login and make sure you check the box next to the computer name them click on applie and reboot the machine and you should be good to go! :D

Sorry I forgot to mention you don't have to setup a user profile. It is Not needed! ;)
I tried tweakUI already and it wouldn't work.
But the big problem is that it really doesn't require a password. You can type anything in and it will log you in.

I had to change it to Microsoft Family Logon so it wouldn't ask me for a password and I am still able to access my network PC's.

Great glad that work for you. My computer will not let me do that. Must use a login for the network. Lucky you. :D
